    For anyone interested in joining the 2013 Bethsaida excavations program, including additional days in Jerusalem and Jordan, the preliminary details are now available at:

    The preliminary itinerary is currently being costed and an updated version will be posted to the above page as soon as it is available.

    At the end of June 2012 we had almost 40 people who have expressed an interest in the 2013 tour, but numbers will be limited to 25. Once the first 25 deposits have been received, additional names will be placed on a wait list in case a vacancy becomes available at a later date.

  • Photos of special finds – Bethsaida 2012

    The Bethsaida project photographer, Hanan Shafir, has posted a set of images of people posing with the special objects they found at Bethsaida in 2012. They give a nice personal touch to the story, as well as featuring the variety of smaller objects found this season.
